Had a wonderful time here!
The place is awesome. The houses have such bright colors & the sea view is wonderful!! Especially recommend to go there before sunset for amazing views 😍
Attractive collection of small shops selling a range of souvenir and gifts. Some unique shops such as one specialising in squid sepia ink dyed goods. Some other shops are pretty average, selling cheap souvenirs you can find anywhere. The buildings are heritage and the surrounds are nice.
Great atmosphere, at least around Christmas time. A few spots are worth checking out (especially Snaffles, though do note that the cafe next door is not theirs and so if you want to sit and eat Snaffles cheesecakes, you’ll need to at least buy some coffees at the cafe), but most of the shops inside are touristy rubbish. Can also get packed with your groups, though that seemed to come and go in waves.
The place is a collection of a few warehouse like buildings. It's a mixture of shopping and food. There are many tourists as well as locals. Its also has a wide collection of Hakodate local biscuits, chocolate, all nicely packed as gift boxes. Prices are high but quality is good.
Wow i feel amaze to visit this place. I love the ambience. I love the street, the port, the road along the way to this place, i even love the rain as well. I see what i called "christmas trees" along the road and it make the road even more beautifull. I want to visit this place again when i visit hakodate.
Nice place for some nostalgic photos
Many souvenir shops inside the actual warehouse but many of them a bit average. A walk outside was quite nice though. A good stopover before heading to the ropeway to go to Mt Hakodate.
A lots of red brick ware houses are located. And those places are sell something which orgel, chop sticks like special japan items. Also secret pic spot. Very recommended
The place is lovely. I like music box and cheese cake can keep them just 2 hrs. but I eat now It’s so pretty.
Great place to spend time waiting for rain to stop
Nice place for a relaxing day. There are many gifts shop, souvenir shops & restaurants. Recommended place to eat are Lucky Pierrot & The Beer Hall
It’s a shopping mall with cute red appearance.
A cool and relaxing environment during this summer period... Not too crowded on a Monday afternoon.. Perfect place to eat, shop and more eating and shopping.... A leisure walk along the bay is also recommended
That is a charming place of Hakodate for enjoying at dusk. There are small shops for souvenirs and japanese goodies. Walk around the brick buildings and have a coffee.
Cool concept of marrying retail and food. Got my snaffles and found a gourmet sesame store with lots of tasty snacks!
Been here two times, and gosh, it is worth every minute to revisit. The view of the bay is stunning at all angles. You can see Mt Hakodate in the distance, turn around and you get the fantastic view of the bay area, turn around again, you can enjoy the rustic views of the red brick warehouse. What's not to be missed here is the Hakodate Snaffles, a unique Hakodste pastry served with cold espresso, for just 200 yen!
Well preserved part of this city, a fusion of modern and olden japan. Large variety of shops, from cosmetics to food!
Cute kitsch shopping centre selling assorted goods including souvenirs.
It's a nice place to chill and buy local souvenirs.. can easily spend 2-3 hours to walk and enjoy the 'hakodate' ambience. Most of the shops will be closed by 7pm. Restaurant till late hours.
Awesome place with lots to see and do, good thing is that most shops are indoors so if it’s snowing crazy then it’s a great way to escape the cold. We came back here three days in a row just to sit at cafes and enjoy the atmosphere
Nice warehouse with potential, but the selection of goods for sale is poor and focused on budget tourists. This would be an opportunity to offer real quality produce from the region, but most items are cheap and tasteless. Very sad to see. I hope and wish that the owner would manage this great venue more responsibly.
Shopping not my thing, but nice area to walk around and get your souvenirs.
Famous large shopping area located in hakodate port. Several Souvenir shops & restaurants awaits tourists & locals alike for their shopping & dining experiences. an excellent place to stroll around while biding your time. Easily accessible from public transportation.
A nice little touristy area by the waterfront, within walkable distance from Hakodate JR station. Some shops are selling typical touristy goods, but there are a few good shops that sells locally made products. There are nit many restaurants, but do have some cafes.
Good place for souvenirs or nice food. They've really done a great job redeveloping this area into a trendy place to hang out. Well worth a visit.
Old warehouses turbed into shopping centre
Quaint warehouse with many interesting shops. Try the Snaffles cheesecakes!!
Charming and lovely atmosphere. Alot of tax free shopping, great area to shop or just walk around and relax. Used to having tourists so quite a few will understand simple english.
Lots of shops and little cafes. Definitely checkout the Hakodate factory at the end of the row. It has tons of Hakodate products and omiyage!
Fantastic shopping mall with a lot to explore. Also it is very charming in old brick and timber construction. We loved it!
Excellent Seaview a d mountain view surrounding the area. Lots of variety for shopping and eating
A few drug stores are here, and a lot of anime characters' product for sale! A beautiful place for insta shots too.
Nice place to walk around in hakodate. Beautiful views when weather is good
A high Five Star given to Kanemori Red Brick for turning an old quaint warehouse into a bustling business venture. Love the much activities with crowd going for food and beverage outlets, souvenirs, pastry shops etc. Love the internal decoration where every shop competes with each other to stand out, better and more prominent.Great place to hang out...And the scenery by the sea is so beautiful ...
The Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses is a nice place to take a walk. There are a lot of shops inside the Warehouses and places to eat nearby. It is a very aesthetically pleasing place to be, especially at night. It is about a 10-15 min walk from Hakodate station. Can also be conveniently accessed by their cable cars.
Nice place to take a photo
Lots of souvenirs. Nice to walk around.
Lots different things to see. Nicely done in the Christmas theme. I really like the Ninja like Santa on the red brick houses. Christmas tree is huge.
Lots of shops. Lots of restaurants. Lots of interesting items to see. And it's located along Hakodate Bay, so the ambience and the scenery are wonderful.
